Nights Two, Three and the Wrapping of Young, Awkward and Stupid

We finished up filming on Young, Awkward and Stupid Thursday and Friday night. The film is currently wrapped and is in post production.

Thursday night was really rough. We started at 7:30 pm and went until midnight. The set ups for shots were really difficult and took a lot of time. Things just weren't moving as rapidly as they were on Wednesday night. There was a lot of frustration and tension because of this. However, as the night moved on, things got smoother and we began to pick up pace.

Still, it was a rough night. However, this happens. It's happened on nearly every production I've been on. And, on the bright side, we really got some great stuff on this night.

Kristen Hall took a lot of behind the scenes pictures on this night. You can see them below.

Friday night went much smoother than Thursday night. We had a great pace, got great footage and spirits were much higher. We actually finished two hours ahead of schedule and celebrated with an iHop run. It was a good night.

I snapped a few pictures with my T2i between shots. You can see them below.

It was very cold these nights.

That does it for Young, Awkward and Stupid updates for now. The film is wrapped and it is looking great. Post production is starting up (the poster being one of the first aspects of this, which you can view at the top of the article) and hopefully the movie we shape up in editing will be as great as I feel this thing can be. I'm so excited and happy about this film.

Stay tuned for articles on the last film my class is making, Why I'm Afraid of the Dark.
